when you hate someone but they’re still really cute
The Independence day. Photo and caption by Marko Korošec. While on storm chasing expeditions in the Tornado Alley in USA I have encountered many photogenic supercell storms. This photograph was taken while we were approaching the storm near Julesburg, Colorado on My 28th, 2013. The storm was tornado warned for more than one hour, but stayed an LP storm through all its cycles and never produced a tornado, just occasional brief funnels, large hail and some rain. Location: Julesburg, Colorado, USA
The Stripe. Photo and caption by Michael Quinn. Sometimes you run across very special Icebergs with stripes in them. These are formed from cracks that are then filled with water and then frozen. As this is frozen water, they are clear without the normal air trapped from snow falling. These stripes produce amazing colorations as they reflect their surroundings and allow us to look into the heart of an Iceberg. Location: Bernstorff Isofjord, Greenland

Supernatural. Photo and caption by Iulian Popa. This is a startrail i captured while searching for the Tree of Life location in the region of Dobrogea, Romania. There isn’t much to say about it except the fact that the place is calling me back right now. Location: Razboieni, Tulcea, Romania.
Thunder Storm. Photo and caption by Joel Santos. Dark blue clouds were reflected on the wet surface of the Salar Uyuni, Bolivia, with people walking on the imaginary line where sky merges with the earth. The lightning, getting closer by the minute, began to echo the last rays of light with multiple powerful discharges. The stormed builded up and, as a clear harbinger of the rain to come, the wind started to whisper strong gusts, eliminating the reflection and pushing us ‘home’. A friend held our camping light and the whole scene reminded me the legend of Prometheus, the bringer of light/fire to mankind in Greek mythology.[13s.,f/2.8, ISO200]. Location: Salar Uyuni, Bolivia
Traveling on only $500 each allowed us experiences that we would have missed if we had waited for “ideal” circumstances. We slept under the stars in New Mexico and stayed at the houses of total strangers in Denver. Strangers in Flagstaff let us eat at their graduation party and park rangers in Utah told us where to find free camping. New friends from the Internet bought us doughnuts in Chicago and old friends from the Internet insisted on paying for every expense in Detroit. We viewed incredible sights, met the kindest people, and made lifelong memories.
Sacrifice for your dreams; it’s worth it.
